To me a work of art is good if it somehow transcends the physical and glimpses the spiritual. Visual art expresses what words can not. Many of my works are meant to be contemplative. They speak to the gap between spirituality and our human understanding. This is what draws me to my subject matter. I'm endeavoring to create visual poetry or prayers without words.
